Emergency Restoration Services LLC takes great pride in ensuring that each of our mold inspectors and remediation specialists undergo extensive training and receive industry approved certifications before entering any of our customers homes. When choosing ERS, you will have piece of mind that only highly trained professionals are resolving your mold removal and water damage needs.

Currently each of our mold removal specialists must complete the courses listed to the right before joining the ERS Team:

Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC)

The IICRC is a certification and standard-setting non-profit organization for the inspection, cleaning and restoration industries. In partnership with regional and international trade associates, the IICRC serves more than 25 countries with offices in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

Required ERS Technician IICRC Courses

Water Restoration Technician

The Water Damage Restoration Technician course is designed to teach restoration personnel that perform remediation work to give them a better concept of water damage, it’s effects and techniques for drying of structures. This coursegives personnel the background to understand the procedures necessary to deal with water losses, sewer backflows, and contamination such as mold.

Applied Microbial Remediation Technician

(Prerequisite: IICRC Certification in WRT) The Applied Microbial Remediation Technician course covers mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals engaged in property management, property restoration, IEQ investigations or other related professions.

Applied Structural Drying Technician

(Prerequisite: IICRC Certification in WRT) The IICRC-approved Applied Structural Drying (ASD) course is designed to teach the effective, efficient and timely drying of water-damaged structures and contents, using comprehensive classroom and hands-on training, in order to facilitate appropriate decision making within a restorative drying environment.

Mold Inspection and Remediation Certification

The National Association of Mold Professionals is a non-profit organization with the goal of developing and promoting the Mold Inspection and Remediation industry. NAMP has developed America’s oldest and most respected certification course to provide education and authoritative credentials for Mold Professionals. The only certification course being taught by MD's, PhD's and JD's with extensive backgrounds in the mold industry!
